Sharjah Toastmasters Humorous speech club contest was held on Dec. 21, 2011. The contest reflected energy ,passion and the desire to stretch and strut.
- The participation in the humours contest was 100% more than the standard club meetings. Why ? I cannot comprehend the reason, still looking for the motivation.
- There were 9 humorous contestants and many to applaud their endeavors.
- The contest participation was overwhelming and contestants flexed their humour muscle stepping out of their comfort zone.
- The deliveries had creative topics and am sharing the “9” titles.

What a fantatic effort, what a creative presentation. Congratulations.
I presented the humourous speech titled ” End of the beginning”. It was NOT effective because I was new to such speeches. The script was excellent, if Bill Cosby presented it, it could have won first prize anywhere. However grand and beautiful a garland might be with most frangrant flowers, if it handled by ‘treejumpers’ its intrinsic value is gone.
TM Vinod Mehra, I will visit your site more frequently and will search the archives, I sure I can come out with a lot of gems if I dive deep in to your past posts.

All 9 speakers proved their passion towards public speaking,it was really fantastic.
I was the 9th speaker with the speech “Kaleidoscope”.
